Kiern Jewiss confident ahead of first race in WSK Super Master Series
LONDON, 04 March 2016 – Following several days of successful testing, all eyes will be on Kiern Jewiss this weekend as he heads to Castelletto, Italy for round one of the WSK Super Master Series.
Competing in Class OK Junior, Jewiss is hopeful to continue his winning streak after a spectacular win last month which saw him take the WSK Champions Cup in his debut race for Ricciardo Racing.
Ahead of the weekend, Kiern said: “I feel confident: my tests went well last week and the Team is in good spirits. I’m sure there are a lot of other drivers who feel the same and that is why I will continue to work on myself leading up to the weekend. My goal will be to take as many points as possible from the first round.”
The race weekend starts with free practice on Thursday 3rd March, followed by qualifying on Friday 4th March. Saturday 5th March will see the heats which will establish the starting grids for the final race on Sunday 6th March. The pre-finals and finals of Sunday will be available live via streaming on the official website www.wskarting.it.
The Series has four rounds; the season-opener will be hosted this weekend by the famous 7 Laghi International Circuit. The other rounds scheduled are Sarno (Salerno) on 20th March, Muro Leccese (Lecce) on 3rd April and Adria (Rovigo) on 22nd May.
